A railway station street turns into a promenade and is being extended to a boulevard. The needs for recreation of the inhabitants of lucerne are given priority in the design as well as a free access to the water. The boulevard stretches from the current water front to the facades as a consistent urban space free to be adapted individually by every user.
As a walking path next to the river reuss the railway promenade completes the touristic image of lucerne.
