the salons de l’inattendu foresee a revival of the open space underneath the above ground metro lines. those spaces in the middle of urban life but with poor social qualities are subject of a restructuring in collaboration with cultural institutions and schools in the neighborhood. temporary installations, cultural events and workshops within a festival are being organized with habitants, artists and artisans and provide the possibility for experiments. hence a local community with the chance for new experiences and unforeseeable happenings can be created.
