The objective of the renewal of Willy-Brandt-Platz was a future oriented valorisation of the city entrance in terms of design and functionality. as a representative traffic hub it must provide a diverse use and new quality of stay as well as clear orientation and self-evident patterns of motion. A climate positive design was one of the main parameters beside functional design facing the upcoming challenges of a sustainable transit space.
